From 17 to 18 October 2024, the kick off of the project “Empowerment of Ethnic Minority Students in Vietnam” – EMSIV, co-funded by the European Union in the framework of Erasmus+ Programme. The meeting took place in Como, Italy, hosted by the University of Insubria (Como Branch), Project partner, in cooperation with the Centre for Research on Ethnic Minorities. The Project was organzied in hybrid way, presence and on line.
Participants from Europe: Polytechnic of Porto, Portugal, Almalaurea Interuniversity Consortium, Bologna, Italy.
Participants from Vietnam include: Hanoi University; Thai Nguyen University; Nha Trang University, Tay Nguyen University, Agriculture and Forestry Research & Development Center for Moutainous Region and Management Board of Hanoi Industrial Zones and Processing & Export Areas.
The meeting was attended in presence by almost 30 staff members of the Consortium.
The meeting hosted as well keynote speakers from University of Milan, Institute for Comparative Federalism, EURAC Research, Bolzano/Bozen, Italy and Centre for Diversity Policy Research and Practice, Oxford Brookes Business School, UK.
